Source Energy want to recruit 2 graduates to help create sales opportunities in new market sectors and to manage and maximise the potential of all incoming sales activities
Specialising in ground source and air source heat pump technology, Source Energy provides a wealth of knowledge and experience offering a complete heating solutions. Sales have historically concentrated within the private domestic sector where customers have benefitted from the whole quality solution and service provided by Source Energy. The market place is expanding and is set to grow rapidly in all sectors with the onset of the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) scheme. To maximise the growth potential, Source Energy require 2 new Busines Development and Marketing Executives to focus on the development of the business and to provide the pre-sales customer support function for designated customer sectors that the business wishes to expand.
Objectives
• Help create, manage and actively deliver the marketing plan across target sectors
• Provide pre-sales and sales support to all incoming customers
• Establish contacts and ongoing relationships with key clients, strategic partners and decision makers
• Maintain and update Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
• Organise, manage, attend and promote Source Energy at exhibitions and seminars
Nature of Work
These new and exciting roles have been created to capitalise on the ongoing growth and huge market potential that exists within the industry sector. To maximise growth potential, the successful graduates will focus on providing high level first contact and subsequent support to potential and existing clients. They will also undertake marketing activities helping to create marketing plans as well as delivering campaigns including digital marketing, marketing literature and PR, exhibitions, seminars and any other effective networking opportunity. The key performance indicators for the role will include the number of new clients, business contacts and conversion of these into customer orders.
Personal Skills
Essential Requirements
• A degree in Marketing, Business Studies or other related subject area at 2.1 and above
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a pro-active and can-do attitude
• Business development activity experience, demonstrable sales experience
• Excellent customer service and client management skills
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
• Driving License
• Graduates must not have previously been supported in a UCP Graduate Placement programme*
Desirable Requirements
• Previous experience within a similar sales and business development role
• Previous experience of creating, managing and delivering marketing campaigns
• A keen interest in renewable energy technologies
• Graduates should ideally (but not necessarily) have graduated within the last 5 years and be unemployed or not fulfilling their graduate potential*
