Robust research underpins all aspects of our activity. Drawing in intelligence and data from the work we do with you, and from national sources, will improve understanding of enterprise challenges in Cornwall and how we can grow the ways we support you.
Working with you, we’ll explore the areas that you identify as a priority for your business and are directly relevant to organisations in Cornwall. Our research will also focus on scanning trends and opportunities on a national and international level and translating them into a Cornish context.
We understand that the Cornish economy, and the businesses operating within it face unique challenges. We’ve established our research centre with a clear focus on your needs to make sure that issues which matter to you are fully understood. We'll use the information we gather to influence the actions and strategies for local economic development policy, ensuring over time that our work together supports positive change for businesses, business support organisations and statutory agencies.

This research will be delivered by SERIO. Based at Plymouth University, Serio provides specialist social, economic and market research across the South West and beyond.
