St Austell Brewery

“St Austell Brewery has had a successful collaborative partnership with Cornwall College for several years. This has been particularly successful with our supervisory courses which have been run by CCB,” said Vicky Crossingham, HR Director at St Austell Brewery.

Working with Cornwall College Business, St Austell Brewery has created development programmes for their supervisors and depot managers, designed to increase and improve their skills and behaviours for the benefit of both the employees and the business.

Sally Sandford, Logistics Administrator and Environmental Officer for the brewery has undertaken a number of environmental courses with CCB and has recently completed the Environmental Management NVQ4 ILM and as a consequence has won the ILM Award for Excellence as Learner of the Year. This award recognises her personal commitment and use of her skills to make clear and efficient environmental improvements to her organisation.

Sally said: “This course provided the flexibility to study at a time and pace convenient to myself. Since gaining the qualification, I have utilised much of the course content within my role as Environmental Manager.”
