Who is this course for?

This course is for business owners, managers and designers to develop an understanding of web design and authoring.

You will develop the skills and techniques to produce interactive web pages that have multimedia content. You will also gain an understanding of HTML and experience of using more sophisticated vector based software. During the course you will use Dreamweaver software along with many different packages.

Course overview

This course covers:

  • Analysis and implementation of web design
  • Research examples of current web technologies
  • Demonstrate the use of HTML in the production of web pages
  • Use vector & bitmap based software to provide practical interactivity and integrate both to enhance web design
  • Understand the use of JavaScript as a web tool.

Web Design and Authoring is delivered through practical sessions where delegates will have access to online support materials and a designated tutor for learning support. Delegates will have to undertake an assignment to successfully pass this course.
