What is motivation and what exactly does the word mean, and why is it important to managers? How does it affect the behaviour of individuals and to what extent is the success of organisations dependent upon the motivation of employees?
Some leaders are tall and muscular; others are small and petite. One leader may be outgoing and jolly, while another always looks serious. All leaders have their own individual personalities, styles and approaches to the task. Identifying the characteristics of leadership is not easy so the learning on this course focuses on what makes a great team leader.
This course covers a variety of modules, which include:
- Motivational factors that influence an individual and a team
- SMART objectives and team development – a variety of leadership styles and effective communication
