This course is designed for those people working in the food and drink production industries and is designed to enable learners to study and be assessed within the work place. It covers a range of areas of the food and drink industry including production, sales and service, and support services such as maintenance or laboratory operations.
This qualification is designed for new entrants and/or those already working in the food industry or its supply chain, and suitable at all levels from Operator to Management.
The flexible choice of units will allow learners to select those that are most relevant to their own employment, learning and progression requirements. It also reflects the wide variety of jobs which people do in different types of companies in the food industry. There is also the opportunity to develop knowledge in food technology.
There are no formal entry requirements, but you must be employed within the food industry. A Level 2 Certificate is desirable, while it is expected that a genuine interest is held in supporting discussions with our team of experts to ensure that the principles are being implemented and that change is happening.
