Who is this course for?
This two day Adobe Intermediate training course is for anyone wanting to improve their Photoshop skills. It is an intensive tutor led course, delivered by an Adobe Certified tutor which incorporates a substantial amount of hands on training.
The courses are normally delivered at Cornwall College Camborne or St Austell but can be delivered at other locations, including company premises, subject to a viable number of delegates.
Entry requirements
There are no formal qualifications required for this course, however delegates should have familiarity with the fundamentals of Photoshop and ideally will have previously completed the Introductory course or have similar levels of skills and experience.
Course overview
The content will be driven partly by the requirements of the delegates, but would normally include the following:
- advanced selection techniques
- retouching and healing
- adjustment layers
- layer masks and working with layer masks
- using the clone tool and the pattern stamp
- using the dodge and burn tools
- using blending modes to correct images
- using corrective filters
- choosing custom colours and creating gradients
- using blending modes for layers
- using layers as masks for other layers
- working with RAW files
- preparing images for use in publications
- printing and outputting for use with other applications
