Who is this course for?
This course is for students who have successfully completed the Food and Beverage Service Certificate Level 1 and wish to gain a higher qualification or for school leavers who have the necessary GCSE qualifications and wish to gain all-round training.
Entry requirements
You should be at least sixteen years of age with three GCSE′s at grade C or above (two of which should be Maths and English). It is an ideal that anyone wishing to come on the course should have some prior experience to understand the pressures of the industry.
Course overview
You will learn, develop and be assessed in a range of food & drink skills, you will be assessed in the art of making the service of food and drink look easy and with confidence.
What's next?
Successful students can work in a range of professional restaurants within the catering industry or continue with NVQ Diploma Level 3 or study an Apprenticeship programme.
