This course is designed for those wanting to enter or progress in the field of computerised accounts. They can help individuals to demonstrate competence in the practical use of computerised accounts software to produce accurate, professional and well presented accounts employing an appropriate range of accounting activities.
Entry requirements
There are no formal requirements although you will need to have some computer knowledge as well as a good head for numbers and a flair for attention to detail.
Course overview
You will study a number of topics, these include the following:
- Create, open, change or delete companies
- Enter invoices into both sales and purchase ledgers and also enter new accounts within the nominal ledger
- Payments and receipts from and to subsidiary ledgers
- Production of various simple accounting reports necessary for the day-to-day running of a business.
