With a Level 2 Customer Service Certificate, you are qualified to a junior level and may find yourself progressing to a more senior position with more responsibility. Thereafter you can start working towards the Level 3 Customer Service Certificate, by enrolling the Level 3 Apprenticeship.
Completing both the Level 2 and Level 3 Customer Service Apprenticeships will help you progress in your career through a supervisory level to management. The skills learned are transferable, and can be used in a number of job roles and industries.
In the future, you may be interested in continuing your apprenticeship studies through Cornwall College Business and enrol in the business administration, team leading, people management, leader management or accounting apprenticeships. Thereafter, you may wish to study further and complete an FdA Business or FdA E-business Management, followed by a BA (Hons) Business Enterprise through Cornwall College.

This apprenticeship is designed for people who want to train on the job and gain a nationally recognised qualification in customer service.
If you are friendly, enjoy working with people and being the face of the company, this is a great apprenticeship for you to start your career. It supports any job that is customer focused either over the phone, face to face or via email e.g. front of house, reception, sales assistant, customer relationship manager, customer support officer and customer service executive officer.
To enrol in this apprenticeship, you need to be aged 16 and over, have a minimum of 2 GCSEs at Grade C (ideally in English and Maths) and be employed in a suitable customer service position.

You will attend lectures at the Camborne, St Austell or Saltash campus 1 day per week for 1 year, while the remainder of the week is spent in the workplace.
During this apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to select units to suit your job role and industry. You will learn how to deal with customers in writing and electronically, process complaints, build effective communication tools, improve the customer experience and develop customer relationships. This course can be tailored to your needs!
You will put together a portfolio of evidence to show that you are competent at the tasks you do every day, while receiving support from experienced Cornwall College tutors.
