Game Keeping

“After I left school I started an apprenticeship in livestock while working on my family farm. A couple of years later, the farm diversified into running a game shoot. I needed to learn more about the game keeping business, so was pleased to join the new Game Keeping Apprenticeship scheme. Eventually I would like to take over running the shoot and farm. In my spare time I enjoy shooting and pest control and I’m an active member of the local young farmers club.”
