“I first came to Duchy College for an activity week organised by the Devon Rotary Club. Soon after I joined the College’s Sports & Recreation Apprenticeship programme. I prefer hands on learning and did not want to spend every day in a classroom. In my spare time I walk my dogs on Dartmoor, attend rugby training and salsa dance. I would like to use the qualification so I can travel abroad to gain more experience personally and professionally within the leisure industry.”
