Matthew Livingstone

Case Study

Electro Technical Service

Now in his fourth year as an Electro Technical Services Apprentice, Matthew Livingstone has a lot to be proud of. He is doing his apprenticeship with Cranstar Holidays working on their various holiday parks and establishments.

Matthew has completed his NVQ2 Performing Engineering Operations and is now working on his NVQ3 Electro Technical Systems Buildings and Structures. His goal is to finish his programme this year. Matt has also passed the 17th Edition of the Wiring Regulations which is usually completed after the apprentice qualifies.

Matthew’s ambition and hard work was recently recognised when he was awarded Student of the Year for Electrical Engineering Level 3. He has also been nominated by his CCB Liaison Officer for Electrical Apprentice of the Year.

“My apprenticeship has helped me with all aspects of my life. It has helped me by giving me the skills to get on with other tradesmen and has taught me how to speak to them in a technical language. I feel that it has given me more confidence.”
