“I’ve loved cars since I was little, I want to be working for Formula 1 eventually, but that will take lots of training and experience. The best part about the apprenticeship route is getting the practical experience, being in the real world and getting paid for it too,” said James.
James explained: “Cornwall College was the obvious choice because they are the only college that offers motor vehicle study to A-level standard, plus they’ve got a really good reputation for practical training like this.”
James did his apprenticeship at Ward Vauxhall. He has now gone on to start a motorsport degree in pursuit of his dream.
