Sally heads up the Leadership & Management Team in the Business Professional Hub at Cornwall College.
She has over 20 years' experience of designing and delivering development programmes to meet the needs of companies of all sizes and for all levels of management, from newly-appointed team leaders through to Strategic Directors and senior management teams.
She has been employed predominantly in the Public Sector for local government, but has spent time as a freelance consultant working with large charitable organisations, financial services companies, the care sector and smaller private companies.
She believes that effective leaders and managers are self-aware and that organisational development is dependent upon the skills and abilities of the senior management team. Thus many of the solutions she proposes begin with managers ‘holding up the mirror'!
She has experience of designing performance management systems, competency frameworks and large-scale conferences and engagement events. Sally is accredited to use a variety of tools including Team Management Systems' Management Profiles.
One of her strengths is the ability to work with people and understand the real issues they are hoping to address, building relationships and meeting real needs in the solutions she proposes.
Sally has a fun and pragmatic approach to developing others believing that training should be enjoyable and relevant to what people do in the real world.
